If you are unable to connect your Device via Wi-Fi, try some of these troubleshooting tips. Any one of these steps could reveal a network issue, so they don't need to be done in a particular order.

1. Be sure that Wi-Fi adapter is installed
If the device does not have built-in Wi-Fi, be sure that you have the optional Wi-Fi adapter properly inserted into the Device USB port.

2. Restart Device and restart your computer
When Wi-Fi does not work on the first attempt, it sometimes helps to restart the Device and/or restart your computer. You can restart the Device by simply removing its power supply for a moment and then replacing it.

3. Check wireless security settings
Does your network require a password? If yes, verify that you are using the correct username and password required.

4. Try another access point
If you have another wireless access point available, try connecting the Device to it as a way of further isolating the issue to its root cause.

5. Network interference
How many other wireless networks appear in your list of network names? The more networks present in your area, the more chance there is for interference. If you are in an area with an excess of wireless traffic, you may need to take steps to manage the sources of interference, perhaps moving some devices to wired connections.

6. Reset the Connection - Forget Network

  1. Click the Network icon on the lower right corner of your screen.
  2. Click Network settings.
  3. Click Manage Wi-Fi settings.
  4. Under Manage known networks, click the network you want to delete.
  5. Click Forget. The wireless network profile is deleted.
  6. Search for all available networks and select the desired one you want to connect to.

7. Can other devices connect?
Try connecting to the wireless access point from other devices, such as computers and smartphones, with the same Wi-Fi settings. This is just to verify that the network is working properly. If you can connect some devices and not others, you may need to reach out to the manufacturer for further assistance for the device itself.
