Students, staff, and faculty are not allowed to plug their personal computers, laptops, or other devices into our network ports. Ports on the walls that are open or appear to be available to plug something in, are disabled by default. A network port can be enabled by request, to the Service Desk.

Students:
  • All MCC employee and student computer desktops, laptops, and virtual desktops are pre-configured to login into our domain named: MCC
  • The user name\password is authenticated through our MCC Active Directory. If the user is not an active student or active employee, it will not let them log in.
Guests:
  • Guests and visitors occasionally use our computer labs, and will need a generic log in account because they are not listed in our Active Directory. The following information are logins for non MCC employees and students:
Accounts:
  • ContinuingEd (Continuing Education username for non credit classes on campus)
  • SummerCamps (Kids Camp username login for summer camp in Bedford)
  • VDIGUEST (Non mcc account username to log into the virtual desktops)
