To access the MCC Virtual Student Desktops from off-campus:

1. Browse to https://www.middlesex.mass.edu 
   
   
2. Click the MyMCC link, and login with your MCC Account Under My Links, click Academic Virtual Desktop.
   
   • Note: If the link is not available, you can also access the direct URL https://mcc-vdi.middlesex.mass.edu/.
     
     
3. There are two connection options available:

   • Install Horizon Client (left icon) - redirects to the VMware Horizon Client Download page. Connects to Student Virtual Desktops through the VMware Horizon Client. Once downloaded and ready to use, it will prompt you for a server address. Use: mcc-vdi.middlesex.mass.edu.
      
   • VMWare Horizon HTML Access (right icon) - connect to Student Virtual Desktops through an Internet browser.

4. If you are entitled to multiple virtual desktops, the list of available desktops is displayed. Click on a Virtual Desktop icon to connect. Otherwise, you may be automatically logged onto the Student Virtual Desktop. 
   
   
5. When you are finished working, click the Start button (lower left) and select Log Off, or click your user name in the upper right corner of the browser, and select Disconnect.
